This beef noodle shop from Hsinchu has interestingly opened several outlets in Hong Kong and the US, one of which is in a suburban shopping mall's food court under the name Duan's Kitchen (925 Blossom Hill Road #1605). The single-use serveware was discouraging, but the food was better than I was expecting, with those noodles being chewy, if a bit wide and clumped together. Those thin shabu shabu-like slices of brisket were tender, and the broth was nice and salty. But it was also a whopping $19, so there isn't much point in getting it again.
